Duties:
Candidates must have Kansas CNA License
-Candidates with Dementia training will be given extra consideration
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse or licensed practical nurse
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety at all times
- Collect specimens for testing and assist with specimen processing
- Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
- Experience with specialized care areas such as critical care, memory care, or primary care is a plus
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy guidelines
Skills:
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
