The Role
- Lead PLC/HMI programming, system design, and control system architecture
- Develop and improve automation solutions for complex industrial equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical, controls, and software issues
- Lead equipment commissioning, start-ups, and on-site system integrations
- Partner with mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, and other engineering teams
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Work directly with customers on technical support, training, and successful project implementation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of controls/automation experience with an engineering degree, or 10+ years of experience without a degree
- Strong hands-on PLC programming experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens
- Experience with HMI/SCADA systems and industrial automation
- Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical and software-based control systems
- Ability to travel regionally up to 40% for commissioning, start-ups, and customer support
Pay: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
