Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drywall Hanger/Taper to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing drywall in residential and commercial settings, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. This role requires a strong understanding of various construction techniques and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Duties
- Install drywall sheets on walls and ceilings, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening.
- Measure and cut drywall to fit around windows, doors, and electrical outlets.
- Apply tape and joint compound to seams, preparing surfaces for finishing.
- Conduct repairs on existing drywall, including patching holes and smoothing surfaces.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist in mold remediation efforts when necessary, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
