Riverside Residence, an independent senior living community is seeking a reliable, friendly Housekeeper to help keep our community clean, safe, and welcoming for our residents.
What You'll Do
- Clean resident apartments on a set schedule (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathrooms, trash, linens)
- Maintain common areas daily, including lobbies, hallways, dining room, restrooms, and elevators, with attention to high-touch surfaces
- Perform routine carpet shampooing in common areas and resident apartments, including spot treatment and move-out cleans
- Follow safe chemical handling and infection control practices; keep carts and supply closets organized and stocked
- Report maintenance or safety concerns to the Executive Director
What We're Looking For
- Housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred (senior living or hospitality a plus)
- Comfortable operating commercial vacuums and carpet shampooers/extractors, or willing to learn
- Patient, respectful, and friendly with older adults
- Dependable and able to work independently
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs regularly
