Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Plumber Technician to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of plumbing and construction tasks on commercial and residential projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with construction plumbing, mechanical systems, and related trades, with a strong focus on problem-solving and technical proficiency. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and residential settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding apparatus to complete tasks
- Perform construction site work including remodeling, carpentry, and assembly tasks as needed
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely throughout job sites
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to HVAC systems and plumbing components
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations during work activities
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- Maintain a clean work environment and properly handle tools and materials
Skills
- Extensive experience in construction, especially construction plumbing and remodeling projects
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading, welding, and schematics reading
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems, HVAC units, and general construction site operations
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques relevant to plumbing installations and remodeling projects
- Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks on construction sites
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting technical issues
- Experience with commercial driving is a plus for transporting materials between sites
- Maintenance Person experience or general assembly skills are advantageous for versatile project support
This role requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in construction-related trades who is committed to delivering quality results while maintaining safety standards.
Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
