We are seeking a Funeral Planner/Arranger to join our team to provide exceptional funeral planning services to the families we serve. As a Funeral Planner, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable and meaningful funeral experiences for families during their time of loss.
Funeral Planner Responsibilities
- Client Consultation: Consult with families to understand their preferences and develop funeral arrangements that meet their needs and budget
- Coordinate all aspects of the funeral service, including selecting a funeral service, merchandise, arranging transportation, and coordinating with vendors
- Documentation management: Prepare and file necessary documents.
- Planning: Manage and maintain funeral planning databases and files
- Provide support and guidance to families during the funeral planning process and during the actual funeral service
- Industry Regulations: Stay current with industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices
Funeral Planner Qualifications & Skills
- Bilingual in Spanish is required
- Previous experience in funeral planning, customer service, or a related field is preferred
- Compassionate communication: Strong interpersonal skills to effective communicate with grieving families and provide emotional support.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Associate Degree preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
