As a Collision Repair Technician, you will play a critical role in restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition following OEM procedures, I-CAR standards, and industry best practices. This position is ideal for experienced auto body professionals seeking stability, strong earning potential, and a Monday–Friday work schedule.
Duties
- Evaluate vehicle damage thoroughly to determine repair scope and estimate necessary parts and labor.
- Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and sheet metal work using hand tools, power tools, MIG welding, and fabrication techniques.
- Conduct auto painting utilizing airless paint spraying equipment to achieve flawless finishes that match original colors.
- Replace or repair auto glass and perform auto glass installation with precision to ensure safety and durability.
- Carry out auto restoration projects by restoring vintage or damaged vehicles to their original condition with attention to detail.
- Use welding techniques such as MIG welding, soldering, and other fabrication methods for structural repairs and custom modifications.
- Maintain vehicle alignment, mechanical systems, and perform basic vehicle maintenance to ensure optimal performance post-repair.
- Handle heavy lifting safely during parts replacement or assembly tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes clearly and managing expectations professionally.
- Assist in auto estimating processes by accurately assessing repair needs and preparing detailed work orders.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience or extensive auto body repair background demonstrating a solid understanding of collision repair procedures.
- Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, fabrication, and the use of various power tools essential for efficient repairs.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems, vehicle maintenance, and auto restoration techniques.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as grinders, sanders, riveters, and sheet metal tools for precise work.
- Knowledge of auto painting techniques including airless paint spraying for high-quality finishes.
- Experience with auto glass replacement and installation ensuring safety standards are met.
- Familiarity with auto estimating software to accurately assess damages and prepare repair estimates.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining a focus on safety standards at all times.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
