We're Hiring: Kennel Assistant

Do you love animals and don't mind getting your hands a little dirty? Riverfront Vet is looking for a Kennel Assistant to join our growing team! This is a great opportunity for someone who is dependable, hardworking, and passionate about providing excellent care for pets in a fast-paced veterinary hospital.
Responsibilities include:
- Walking, feeding, and caring for hospitalized pets
- Cleaning and sanitizing kennels, cages, treatment areas, and other areas of the hospital
- Washing dishes, doing laundry, and helping keep the hospital clean and organized
- Monitoring pets and reporting any concerns to the medical team
- Assisting veterinarians and support staff as needed
- Answering overflow phone calls and directing clients appropriately
- Assisting at the front desk during busy times, including checking clients in and out, scheduling appointments, and providing excellent customer service
- Providing gentle, compassionate care to every patient
We're looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Comfortable working with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments
- Friendly, professional, and enjoys interacting with clients
- Able to multitask and adapt to changing priorities throughout the day
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and spend most of the day standing, bending, and walking
- A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
- Veterinary or animal care experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right person!

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
