We are hiring for part time weekend/weekday cashier/stocker. This position requires availability to work on weekends. Job duties include cashiering, making deli sandwiches, making fried chicken, stocking soda, stocking beer and wine, cleaning, emptying trash and various other tasks . Cashiers should expect to make between $17. and $17.25 per hour with tips ($16.50 base plus tips) No experience is required for this position, however experience cashiering or stocking is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Scan items, collect payments, and issue receipts to customers
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Assist customers with any inquiries or concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Process returns and exchanges according to company policies
- Promote company loyalty programs and special promotions
Requirements:
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient checkout process
- Fluent in English to effectively communicate with customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high volumes of transactions
- Basic math skills to accurately calculate change and totals
Ability to lift and carry up to 40lb items in order to stock beer wine and soda.
