The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician performs preventative, planned, and unplanned maintenance and service on equipment to support BrassCraft's production of plumbing equipment.
This includes electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs, with our ideal candidate having 5+ years of experience in a similar industrial setting.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Makes safety the number one priority by leading by example, addressing unsafe conditions & behaviors, and supporting safety improvement initiatives
- Supports continuous improvement by participating in events and submitting opportunities for improvements
- Working as a team or individual, perform maintenance on production and
facility equipment
- Read, analyze, and interpret schematics, blueprints, service manuals, and work orders
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area following 5S standards
- Respond quickly to service call; interact with colleagues in a professional manner
- Use computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to document work
- and order parts
- Performs other related duties as needed and assigned
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent; 5+ years of relevant experience in an industrial setting
- Certificate of Skill (Welding, Rigging, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Bearings)
- Ability to work both independently and as a team
- Understand and comply with safety standards
PREFRRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, A/C (including troubleshooting and repair), and Allen Bradley PLC ladder logic Certificate(s) in welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, etc.
- High attention to detail
- Good basic math skills
- Associate degree in Industrial or Electronic Technology or Mechatronics.
