Overview
We are searching for a reliable and skilled Class A Dump Trailer Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting aggregate materials safely and efficiently within designated routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and excellent driving skills. As a Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of service.
Duties
- Operate end dump tractor trailers .
- Deliver stone, salt, sand, fertilizer, or gypsum products to customers in a timely manner.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate driver logs and documentation for each trip.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal laws and company policies while on the road.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Skills
- Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of how to operate dump trailer equipment.
- Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with team members.
- A valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
Requirements
- Must have current CDL Class A driver license.
- Must have at least 3 years tractor trailer experience.
- Previous dump trailer experience. (preferred)
- Must have current medical card.
- Must pass pre-hire screening.
- Must be able to drive manual 10 speed trucks.
Pay
- Driver paid by percentage.
