Electrical Maintenance Technician - Night Shift
4-Day Work Week | $23-$36/hr + 10% Shift Differential
A growing manufacturing facility in the Columbus area is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join its team on night shift. This role offers a mix of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting in a highly automated manufacturing environment, supporting PLCs, VFDs, motors, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and production equipment. Summary
- Full-time (direct hire) Electrical Maintenance Technician position
- Located in Columbus NE
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
- Diagnose PLC-controlled systems and Allen-Bradley drives to support production uptime
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections using a CMMS system
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Support installation, repair, and maintenance of motors, drives, pumps, conveyors, and related equipment
Compensation & Benefits

- Monday - Thursday, night shift schedule (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) - Three-day weekends every week
- $25.00 - $36.00 per hour based on experience
- Additional 10% shift differential for nights

Preferred Qualifications
- Industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience troubleshooting PLCs; programming experience a plus - Allen-Bradley experience preferred
- Experience with VFDs, motor controls, sensors, and automation equipment
- Ability to read electrical schematics and machine drawings
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and preventative maintenance programs

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
