We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Bar Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to guests, craft quality beverages, and help create a welcoming atmosphere in our hotel bar and lounge.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, professional service
- Take orders accurately and process payments using the POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, equipment, and inventory
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible service practices
- Restock and manage bar inventory, reporting shortages to management
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with a positive attitude
- Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
Requirements
- Previous experience as a bartender, bar attendant, or in a similar hospitality role preferred
- Knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, and beer service
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays and events as needed
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol per state/local regulations
- Must have ABC/TIPS training
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up boxes
