Responsibilities
- Must be able to work in Group home setting with children.
- Behavioral Support & De-escalation: Implementing therapeutic treatment plans, mediating conflicts, and utilizing approved crisis management (de-escalation) techniques to ensure facility safety.
- Daily Routine Management: Guiding youth through morning and bedtime routin
- es, supervising chores, and preparing or assisting with nutritious meals.
- Documentation & Reporting: Recording daily progress notes, reporting behavioral changes, and ensuring compliance with confidentiality and state facility guidelines.
Requirements
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely in accordance with best practices
- Certification in CPR and first aid is required; ongoing training is encouraged
- Working with children
- Valid driver’s license for driving duties related to home & community care or client outings
- Strong communication skills with a compassionate attitude towards clients’ needs
