Service Director Responsibilities:
- Lead all service department operations, driving profitability, efficiency, customer satisfaction, and fixed operations performance.
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor key performance metrics, manage departmental budgets, and implement strategies to improve CSI, productivity, profitability, and customer retention.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, warranty procedures, and dealership policies while resolving escalated customer concerns and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of automotive Service Director or Fixed Operations leadership experience.
- Import dealership experience is required. Experience with brands such as Toyota, Honda, Lexus, Acura, Nissan, Infiniti, Subaru, Mazda, Volkswagen, Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, or similar import franchises is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success improving CSI, technician retention, profitability, and operational performance.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
- Experience hiring, developing, and retaining high-performing teams.
- Ability to analyze financial reports and identify opportunities for growth.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
