Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair submersible pumps, jet pumps, pressure tanks, and control systems
- Pull and install well pumps using a pump hoist or service rig
- Troubleshoot electrical components, pressure switches, pump control boxes, and wiring
- Install new water well pump systems and related plumbing
- Perform well disinfection, flushing, and system testing
- Communicate clearly with customers about findings and recommended repairs
- Maintain accurate job notes and follow company safety procedures
- Operate service vehicles, tools, and equipment safely
Skills
- Proficiency in using an multimeter for electrical measurements is essential.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Knowledge of water treatment processes and regulatory requirements is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather
- Clean background check
- Ability to pass random drug screening through employment
- Ability to work well in a team setting to maintain a drama-free workplace
- Reliability and strong work ethic
- Comfort working around electrical systems and plumbing
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in water well pump service, plumbing, HVAC or electrical work
- Knowledge of submersible pumps, constant pressure systems, and water well system components
- CDL or willingness to obtain one
- Experience operating hoists or pump rigs
Work Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- Occasional on-call or after-hours service
