Senior CNC Programmer – Aerospace / Medical (Stanton, CA)
We are a well-established, high-precision CNC machine shop specializing in aerospace and medical components. With AS9100 certification and Boeing approval, we pride ourselves on quality, reliability, and technical excellence. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior CNC Programmer to join our team in Stanton, California.
Position Overview
This is a key role within our organization, responsible for programming complex, tight-tolerance components for aerospace and medical applications. You’ll be working with advanced equipment, including Okuma CNC machines (mills, mill-turn, and 5-axis), using the latest version of Mastercam.
Key Responsibilities
- Program complex aerospace and medical components using Mastercam
- Develop and optimize toolpaths for 3-axis, 5-axis, and mill-turn machines
- Work closely with machinists, setup personnel, and quality team to ensure first-time-right production
- Select tooling, fixtures, and machining strategies for efficiency and precision
- Troubleshoot and refine programs on the shop floor
- Maintain documentation and adhere to AS9100 and Boeing quality standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement in programming and machining processes
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience programming complex aerospace components
- Strong proficiency in Mastercam
- Extensive experience with Okuma CNC machines
- Solid background in 5-axis and mill-turn programming
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience working in AS9100 and/or aerospace-regulated environments
