We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain vehicles, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and steering components.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively.
- Conduct vehicle inspections, alignments, wheel balancing, and ADAS calibrations to ensure optimal performance.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain detailed service records and complete auto estimating procedures to ensure transparency and accuracy.
Requirements
- Proven dealership or service center experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems
- Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics software and schematics interpretation.
- Familiarity vehicle alignment techniques.
- Ability to perform repairs on GM vehicles or similar makes; experience with diesel engine repair is a plus.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive maintenance tools.
- Valid certification in automotive repair (such as ASE certification) is preferred; ongoing training is encouraged. Pay: $20.00 - $65.00 per hour
