About the Opportunity:
Quality Stone Veneer is growing, and we need our next team member to help us continue our road of expansion. The role of Project Manager (PM) is a new position being created to facilitate our ever-expanding residential and commercial construction presence.
As the PM you will work closely with multiple teams to help set up each project for success, while you will report directly to the Director of Field Operations you will work hand in hand with Field Managers and crews daily.
A successful Project Manager (PM) will be able to focus on providing ongoing customer satisfaction, in a way that ensures repeat business, while keeping the project(s) on schedule and on budget.
Meeting those goals will be accomplished by building a good project team internally and externally. Scheduling and purchasing with input from internal resources are critical in getting the project started properly. Recordkeeping, correspondence, and communication throughout the project hierarchy is the responsibility of the PM, whether delegated or performed directly.
To be successful you will need to be able to:
· Have an extremely high attention to detail but maintain urgency in completing tasks quickly.
· Bring a background in commercial and or multifamily construction, either as a subcontractor or as a prime contractor.
· Read and understand Blueprints.
· Training, formal or on the job in construction and project management.
· Understand scopes of work.
· Ability to read and understand complex commercial contracts.
· Possess excellent time management.
In addition to the above necessary skills the Essential Job Responsibilities and Functions:
- Interacts with the estimating department to follow the development of costs and to assist in brainstorming.
- Begins a schedule and initiates an internal job start up meeting with regional operations manager, field manager, coordinator and estimator. This meeting will discuss scheduling, purchasing, and assign responsibilities for typical job start-up items
- Prepares regular cost projection updates and submits internally monthly. Provides required documentation with cost projections and cost analysis
- Excels at cost management and implements cost efficiencies where possible. Creates and tracks labor analysis for project, as applicable
- Communicates with Client in a timely, efficient manner to promote return customer mission
- Establish a job detailed and job specific schedule
- Assemble the selection and pricing of subcontract. Manages subcontractor default issues if they arise and documents / maintains records for process
- Ensures document management is performed accurately and that all parties receive current project documents to utilize for construction
- Use diligence in the change order process and keeps accurate and current records of change order requests
- Process paperwork promptly
- Produce accurate and on-time billing
- Attend job site meetings as necessary to verse progress of project and ensure smooth communications.
- Utilize software to track and update projects
- Perform problem solving in all areas of the project
- Manage multiple projects at a time
- Travel to different regions as necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience Needed:
- Construction Management with a strong emphasis on management
- 2 - 4 years general experience; 4 - 6 years management experience
- Experienced with construction projects ranging from $250k to $10M in size
- Proven experience leading diverse and multi-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking
- Experience managing budgets for complex construction projects
