Job Summary
The Assistant Bar Manager will support the Bar Manager in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring a high standard of service and product quality. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for our guests while maintaining efficient and profitable bar operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Bar Manager in daily operations and management of the bar.
- Supervise and train bar staff, ensuring they provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain inventory levels, placing orders, and managing stock control.
- Assist in developing creative cocktail menus and drink specials.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
- Support the organization of promotional events and themed nights.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and management teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, and spirits.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
