Longstanding sheet metal manufacturer seeking self-motivated candidate to join our team. Ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and a self-starter.
Full Time, First Shift, 40 hours/week.
Requirements:
* Candidate must have the ability to accurately read a tape measure; and have the ability to read and interpret shop drawings + hardware templates.
* Strong math skills.
* Candidate must be mechanically inclined and have the ability to set up and bend formed-up doors and frames on both mechanical and hydraulic press brake, use various power tools/hand tools, and other equipment when needed, etc.
*Ability to use different measuring devices such as vernier calipers for measuring bends and verifying dimensions.
Duties to include, but are not limited to:
*Setting up and bending formed-up doors and frames on both mechanical and hydraulic press brake which includes bending degree angles as well as square bends on aluminum, stainless steel, and bronze/brass.
* Assisting in all other functions of department operations including but not limited to: set up/run hydraulic punch press, cut off saws, and other equipment when needed.
Experience in sheet metal manufacturing a plus.
Experience with Press Room Operations a plus, as well as knowledge of the accurpress brake and controller a plus.
Must be 18 or older.
Starting salary will be commensurate with experience with a Minimum Starting rate of $18.00/hour.
