Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Breakfast Host to create a warm, welcoming, and memorable morning experience for our guests. As the first point of contact during breakfast hours, you will ensure that all guests feel valued and cared for while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient dining environment. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will set the tone for a positive start to our guests’ day, fostering a vibrant atmosphere that highlights our commitment to exceptional hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a friendly, energetic attitude as they arrive for breakfast service, ensuring they feel welcomed and appreciated
- Assist with food preparation, including setting up buffet stations, replenishing items, and ensuring food presentation meets quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, buffet stations, kitchen equipment, and service utensils in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to manual handling guidelines to prevent injury
- Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously, including knowledge of wine offerings when applicable
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling weight-based food items with care
- Support catering or banquet events as needed, assisting with setup, serving, and cleanup to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements
- Previous experience in fine dining or food service environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures is essential
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and follow manual handling protocols
- Strong customer service skills with in-person interaction experience in hospitality settings
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing inventory levels
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Experience in food preparation, serving, cleaning, and maintaining high standards of hygiene
- Knowledge of dietary considerations and food industry standards is advantageous
- Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
