Texas Health School is looking for a part time Nursing Clinical instructor, who will be responsible for managing students, enrolled in the program, at a clinical facility.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teaches assigned courses
- Keeps a record of attendance
- Is punctual and is reliable in attendance
- Grades clinical assignments, care plans, reflective journals, & evaluations as per the syllabi.
- Attends meetings on a regular basis
- Provides progress update to the students and the program director
- Develops academic plans for students who are not meeting the academic or attendance requirements required to be successful in the program.
- Provides remediation support for the students
Educational Requirement:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution
- MSN preferred
- Active RN license from the Texas Board of Nursing
Experience:
- At least six months to one year clinical teaching experience as a nursing instructor in a clinical setting
- Three years’ experience in the clinical field as a registered nurse
Work Schedule:
Two days a week - 12 hour shifts or three days a week 8 hour shifts
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
