Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth operation during the night shift. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality management skills, be proficient in guest relations, and have a keen attention to detail. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, while maintaining accurate records.
- Conduct night audits to ensure all financial transactions are balanced and accurately recorded.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, providing solutions to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Operate multi-line phone systems efficiently, responding to calls promptly and courteously.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for occupancy.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including managing reservations and processing payments.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel management or hospitality is preferred, with a focus on front desk operations.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests from diverse backgrounds.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to a wider range of guests.
- Familiarity with night audit procedures is an asset but not required; training will be provided.
- Excellent phone etiquette and proficiency in using multi-line phone systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
