Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Ability Avenues is an EIDBI and ABA provider based in Eden Prairie, MN. We're hiring a BCBA to serve as Qualified Supervising Professional (QSP) for an assigned clinical caseload.
Job Summary
This role carries direct clinical and supervisory responsibility under Minnesota's EIDBI program. The BCBA will conduct functional behavior assessments, build individualized treatment plans, and provide clinical supervision in line with MN EIDBI requirements. Open to candidates based in Minnesota or out of state, with recurring in-person travel required to meet client-specific observation and direction requirements.
Duties
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to evaluate behavioral needs and treatment targets.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment data.
- Provide direct clinical supervision to assigned staff and oversee treatment fidelity for the caseload.
- Serve as QSP, meeting MN EIDBI's clinical supervision ratio (minimum 1 hour of supervision per 16 hours of direct treatment).
- Conduct observation and direction (O&D) sessions on a rolling basis per client, including the required in-person session at least once every three months for each client on caseload.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and MN DHS EIDBI documentation standards.
- Document all assessments, supervision activities, and progress notes per agency policy.
Requirements
- Active BCBA certification.
- Active Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) license in Minnesota, or eligibility and willingness to obtain one with agency support.
- Experience with children or individuals with autism and developmental disabilities preferred.
- Strong skills in functional assessment, treatment planning, and clinical supervision.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA and MN EIDBI compliance standards.
- Strong communication skills across clients, families, staff, and DHS-facing documentation.
Location and Travel
Open to candidates located in Minnesota or out of state. Out-of-state candidates must be willing and able to travel to our Eden Prairie clinic on a recurring basis, generally at least once every three months per client, to complete required in-person sessions. This can be covered by one 1-week visit to our clinic every three months. Travel, lodging, and transportation are covered by Ability Avenues.
Caseload
Full-time, flexible caseload, generally 8 to 12 clients depending on complexity and supervision needs.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
