Position Summary
The Clinical Representative is responsible for providing procedural support, product education, technical expertise, and exceptional customer service to physicians, nurses, and hospital staff across a defined geography.
In the near term, this role will primarily support NeuWave microwave ablation procedures and account utilization while helping establish strong clinical relationships and procedural confidence within accounts. As PIO expands its integrated robotics and ablation platform, the Clinical Representative will play an increasing role in supporting Epione utilization, workflow integration, physician adoption, and long-term account growth.
This role serves as a trusted clinical partner to customers, driving procedural excellence, clinical adoption, and sustainable utilization through hands-on support, education, and collaboration with cross-functional commercial teams.
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Clinical Representative is responsible for delivering procedural, technical, and clinical support to physicians and hospital staff while driving customer satisfaction, clinical adoption, and utilization growth of PIO technologies. This individual will partner closely with Territory Managers, Regional Sales Managers, Capital leadership, and Strategic Account teams to support account development and ensure successful clinical outcomes.
The Clinical Representative will develop strong relationships within accounts, provide procedural expertise, and help establish sustainable utilization across both NeuWave and future Epione robotic workflows. This role requires a highly collaborative and clinically focused individual capable of supporting complex procedures while contributing to long-term account growth and customer success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive Clinical Support & Procedural Excellence- Provide procedural and technical support for NeuWave ablation cases while ensuring safe, effective, and efficient product utilization across all phases of the procedure.
Support Clinical Adoption & Utilization Growth- Partner with physicians and hospital staff to drive clinical adoption, procedural confidence, and sustainable utilization growth within existing and new accounts.
Enable Future Robotics & Platform Expansion- Support the future adoption and utilization of Epione robotic technology through workflow integration, physician education, procedural support, and account development activities.
Build Strong Customer Relationships- Develop trusted relationships with physicians, nurses, technologists, and hospital administrators to strengthen customer satisfaction and long-term partnership.
Deliver Clinical Education & Training- Lead product education, procedural training, in-services, labs, and customer education initiatives to support successful technology adoption and procedural best practices.
Partner Within a Team-Based Selling Model- Collaborate closely with Territory Managers, Regional Sales Managers, Capital leadership, and Strategic Account teams to align on account objectives and support business growth.
Maintain Product & Market Expertise- Develop and maintain deep knowledge of PIO technologies, procedural applications, competitive offerings, and interventional oncology market trends.
Technical Troubleshooting & Operational Support- Provide technical troubleshooting and procedural guidance while escalating complex issues appropriately and ensuring compliance with company and hospital policies.
Compliance & Professional Standards- Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and compliance with all applicable company policies and healthcare regulations.
Education, Experience & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a clinical, hospital, medical device, or procedural support environment required
- Experience in Interventional Radiology, Oncology, Imaging, Operating Room, Cath Lab, or related procedural specialties strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to provide procedural support and technical troubleshooting within complex clinical environments
- Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across clinical and commercial teams
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50–60%, including overnight travel as needed Top of FormBottom of Form
