Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling components and products with precision, adhering to technical specifications, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the production process. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to interpret complex technical drawings and schematics. Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial equipment.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, assembly instructions, and manufacturing documents to ensure accurate assembly processes.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, shop math skills, and other measuring instruments to verify component dimensions.
- Conduct mechanical blueprint interpretation and machining tasks as required for assembly accuracy.
- Perform soldering and other electrical or mechanical connections following safety protocols and technical specifications.
- Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) consistently to maintain a safe work environment.
- Handle manual tasks involving specialized industrial tools and ensure proper use of shop math for measurements and calculations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards and quality control procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot assembly issues and optimize production workflows.
- Follow all safety guidelines related to mechanical assembly, machining, soldering, and handling of tools.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing environments; prior experience with production assembly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and manufacturing documents.
- Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, measuring instruments, and shop math for precise measurements.
- Familiarity with soldering techniques, pneumatic tools, power tools, hand tools, and specialized industrial equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical drawings for assembly purposes.
- Knowledge of machining processes and the use of precision measuring instruments.
- Excellent manual dexterity combined with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while maintaining productivity standards.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing principles and quality control procedures.
- Strong communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.
