We are seeking a motivated Production Carpenter Trainee to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to build a career in finish carpentry. We provide the tools, training, and support needed to successfully install interior doors, shelving, and residential hardware while learning industry best practices and construction safety.
While this is a trainee position, candidates with basic construction or carpentry experience are preferred. The ideal candidate is comfortable using common hand and power tools, can accurately read a tape measure, and has a strong work ethic with a willingness to learn. Experience with finish carpentry, door installation, cabinetry, shelving, or general construction is a plus.
As your knowledge and skills develop, you will receive continued training to expand your experience in additional areas of finish carpentry and residential construction.
Essential Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools preferred
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Previous construction or carpentry experience is a plus
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to travel to various job sites throughout the workday
- Reliable, dependable, and eager to learn
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
This is a full-time position offering long-term growth and the opportunity to learn a skilled trade with hands-on training.
