Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care to individuals with disabilities, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, bathing, dressing, and medication management when necessary
- Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions and cooperation
- Maintain a clean, organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, or team members about the individual’s progress and needs
- Requirements
- Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as lifting or assisting with mobility when needed
- Excellent communication skills to foster trustful relationships with families, and team members.
