Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 2 Year Old Early Educator to join our vibrant early childhood education team! Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans focused on toddler development, including literacy education, motor skills, social-emotional growth, and early math concepts.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence among 2-year-olds.
- Use effective behavior management techniques to promote positive social interactions and emotional regulation.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, ensuring transparency and partnership.
- Maintain detailed documentation of each child's developmental progress in accordance with childhood development standards and mandated reporting laws.
- Incorporate classroom management best practices to organize activities, manage transitions smoothly, and ensure a clean, safe learning space.
- Collaborate with team members to plan lessons that integrate early childhood education philosophies as appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by maintaining first aid and CPR certifications and adhering to childcare standards.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting is required. CDA prefered
- Demonstrated knowledge of child development principles specific to toddlers aged 1-3 years.
- Experience developing curriculum that includes literacy education, physical activities, and basic math concepts for young children.
- Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention programs, and behavior management strategies tailored for toddlers.
- Classroom experience utilizing classroom management techniques to foster positive behavior and engagement.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with parents about child welfare, progress reports, and developmental milestones.
- Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare issues is essential.
- Experience teaching physical education or incorporating movement-based activities into daily routines is a plus.

Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour
