Wage Range: $33.75/hour – $42.00/hour (Actual wage dependent on relevant experience)
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse is a clinical practitioner who assesses, coordinates, implements and evaluates patient care specific to the age of the patient population served from newborn to the elderly. He/she ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the unit’s standards of care. He/she demonstrated performance consistent with the mission, philosophy and goals of the unit and organization; remains flexible to changing system; is expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice; and treats staff, physicians, patients and families with consideration and respect. Acts as a patient advocate at all times.
Required Qualifications:
- Currently RN license in the State of Illinois.
- Maintains ACLS, PALS and BLS Certification.
- Knowledgeable in pre-op education procedures
- Knowledgeable in the duties of OR circulating RN, Scrub Technician, PACU RN, and Central Supply Technicians.
- Current knowledge and skills appropriate to telemetry and EKG interpretation.
- Current knowledge of Performance Improvement Program.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Intraoperative surgery experience

Approximate Hours Per Week: 40.00
Anticipated Schedule: Rotating Days (start and end time will vary depending on schedule)
Areas Covered: Will rotate through all areas of surgery (pre, intra, PACU, post op)
Call: Every 5th Saturday (0700-1200) & Average of 3-4 extended hour call days per month
