We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Installation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various commercial foodservice equipment. This role requires a strong attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Installation Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that all installations meet quality standards and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform installations of equipment and systems according to specifications and safety guidelines.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter to test electrical connections and ensure proper functionality.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Document installation processes, maintenance activities, and any issues encountered during work.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions and concerns during installations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in installation, maintenance, or repair roles is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using an ohmmeter and other relevant tools for electrical testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites as required by project needs.
