Join our team at Dairy Queen in Cordova! We're looking for reliable and friendly daytime crew members to help serve our customers in a fast-food environment. We hire starting at age 14, making this a great first job with flexible scheduling and opportunities to learn valuable workplace skills (and get an employee discount on food)!
No previous experience is required-- we'll provide training. We're looking for team members who are dependable, willing to learn, and enjoy working with others. Daytime availability is required.
Crew members may work in one of three areas:
- Cashier – Take customer orders, handle payments, and provide friendly service.
- Chill – Prepare Blizzard Treats®, shakes, sundaes, cones, and other frozen treats.
- Grill – Prepare burgers, chicken, fries, and other hot food while maintaining food safety and cleanliness.

Duties
- Prepare and cook hot food items, including burgers, chicken tenders, fries, onion rings, hot dogs, and other menu items, following Dairy Queen recipes and food safety standards.
- Prepare frozen treats, including Blizzard® Treats, shakes, sundaes, ice cream cones, Misty Slush® drinks, and other desserts, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Restock ingredients and supplies at your assigned station to keep up with customer demand.
- Operate POS systems to process sales accurately and handle cash register operations
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace by following food safety protocols and sanitation procedures
- Practice time-management and multitasking by handling many customer's orders
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including grills, fryers, and other food preparation tools
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, taking orders, and ensuring a positive dining experience
Skills
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and managing food quantities accurately
Pay: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour
