Job Title: Golf Car Technician
Reports To: Service Manager
Position Summary
New England Golf Cars is a family owned and operated Yamaha Golf Car distributor specializing in golf car sales, service, parts, rentals, and leasing. We have 2 in Massachusetts and seeking a full-time Golf Car Technician in our Methuen, Ma branch.
The Golf Car Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, assembling, and maintaining golf cars to ensure safe and reliable operation. This role requires mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and adherence to company and manufacturer standards.
Key Responsibilities
Repair & Maintenance
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on golf cars.
- Perform routine, preventative, and scheduled maintenance.
- Inspect golf cars, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems, to identify functional issues.
- Execute warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and specialized equipment.
Assembly
- Assemble new and refurbished golf cars to company and manufacturer standards.
Documentation & Communication
- Maintain accurate repair orders and document all work performed.
- Record parts used and ensure proper posting to work orders.
- Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain required components.
- Inform the Service Manager of additional repair needs and provide estimated completion times so customers can be properly advised.
Work Orders & Workflow
- Respond to and complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify issues.

- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
