Operations Coordinator (Construction Industry Required)MUST HAVE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE
Position Summary
Coeur d'Alene Painting Group is seeking a highly organized, proactive Operations Coordinator to help keep our projects running smoothly from sale to completion.
This position serves as the communication hub between our CEO, Sales Team, Project Managers, Field Leads, Vendors, and Customers to ensure projects are scheduled efficiently, materials are ordered on time, and crews have everything they need to be successful.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving logistical challenges, communicates exceptionally well, and has previous experience coordinating projects within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
Project Scheduling & Coordination
- Schedule residential and commercial painting projects for maximum production efficiency.
- Coordinate daily and weekly schedules with Project Managers and Field Leads.
- Adjust schedules as weather, customer requests, and project timelines change.
- Ensure projects transition smoothly from the sales process into production.
- Communicate scheduling updates with contractors, customers, field crews, and leadership.
Material & Vendor Coordination
- Order paint, materials, and supplies for upcoming projects.
- Coordinate deliveries to ensure crews have materials when needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Track material availability and proactively resolve supply issues.
Team Communication
- Serve as the primary communication link between the office and field teams.
- Work closely with the CEO, Sales Team, Project Managers, and Leads to prioritize work.
- Keep everyone informed of scheduling changes and project updates.
- Assist with Customer & Contractors communication regarding scheduling and project logistics.
Operational Support
- Maintain accurate project schedules and production calendars.
- Help identify scheduling conflicts and recommend solutions.
- Assist with improving operational workflows and scheduling efficiency.
- Support leadership with day-to-day operational coordination.
- Cross-train in various operational functions to provide team support as needed.
Qualifications
- Construction industry experience is required.
- Previous experience in project scheduling, project coordination, dispatching, or operations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to think ahead and solve problems before they become issues.
- Comfortable using computers and software programs (Google Workspace experience preferred).
- Positive attitude with a team-first mindset.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
