Part-time: 20-25 hours/weekly
Weekdays and occasional weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

Always operate the shuttle bus in a safe and legal manner.

Retrieve messages from the bus schedule line each morning and afternoon.

Update the appropriate Excel spreadsheet with the reservation request making certain to monitor passenger capacity limit.

Update the appropriate Excel spreadsheet with any cancellations, track repeat cancellations from the same resident and discuss with manager if a pattern is noted.

Phone each resident who requested a reservation or a cancellation to confirm such.

Inspect the shuttle bus prior to the start of each trip and record findings on the proper form.

Complete route in a safe and efficient matter as dictated by the passenger list.

Adhere to established routes and shopping times.

Suggest ideas for schedule modifications/additions with manager.

Wash Shuttle Bus on OTOW property as needed, but no less than once per week.

Sweep and wet mop floors and vacuum upholstery as needed, but not less than once per week.

Clean mirrors, windows, and glass doors as needed, but not less than once per week.

Always maintain cleanliness of the shuttle bus.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
The working conditions described are typical of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job. Constantly communicates and receives verbal communication. Lifting, carrying, and pushing up to 40 lbs. Regularly use hands and arms to reach for, grasp, and manipulate objects.
While performing the duties of this job, the individual will be required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and taste or smell; will regularly be required to sit, stand, walk. Vision requirements are close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. This position is regularly exposed to wet or humid conditions. Most of the work is performed in the company vehicle and outdoors. Exposure to a variety of weather conditions is common. The typical noise level is quiet to very loud.
- High School diploma, GED, or a combination of education and work experience.

Must have two (2) years prior experience driving a commercial shuttle bus.

Must have a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger (P) endorsement.
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Reports to: This position reports directly to the Administrative Services Supervisor and will have close working relationships with the Activities and Events team, SCA facility team, Parkway co-workers, and other department members.
- A valid Florida Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a “P” endorsement with an insurable driving record.
