Store & Treatment Rooms Manager – Xēba Botánica (Echo Park, Los Angeles)

Xēba Botánica is seeking a seasoned Store & Treatment Rooms Manager to lead our Echo Park location. This is a senior-level position for someone with proven, upper-level retail and sales management experience and experience overseeing service-based operations. Applicants must have a strong background in running a retail store independently, driving sales, managing high-performing teams, and overseeing treatment room or spa operations.
This role is not for assistant-level candidates—we’re looking for a true leader who can take full ownership of both the storefront and the service side of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all retail store operations: staffing, scheduling, inventory, merchandising, and upkeep
- Lead, manage, and mentor the retail sales team, ensuring high performance and accountability
- Drive in-store sales, set goals, and strategize ways to increase revenue and customer retention
- Handle customer service escalations with professionalism and warmth
- Manage cash handling and daily financial reconciliations, ensuring accurate deposits and reporting
- Monitor KPIs, analyze store performance, and identify growth opportunities
- Maintain store presentation, cleanliness, and brand standards
- Oversee treatment rooms:
- Manage and support estheticians
- Client outreach and support
- Collaborate w and the Lead Esthetician to ensure estheticians are trained in Xēba's brand culture, protocols, and service techniques
- Maintain treatment room cleanliness, ambiance, and supplies
- Handle treatment room scheduling and operational flow
- Manage payroll reporting and ensure compliance with systems and timelines
- Collaborate closely with ownership on product launches, marketing initiatives, and brand strategy
Requirements:
- 3–5+ years of proven, upper-level management experience in retail skincare and spa/wellness environments
- Strong background in sales leadership, cash management, operational oversight, and staff development
- Experience managing service-based staff (spa, treatment rooms, salons, or similar) preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems (e.g., Square), scheduling tools, basic inventory management, and payroll coordination
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Confidence in making operational decisions and working independently
- Availability on weekends and during key sales periods
About the Role:
Our Echo Park team is currently a small, tight-knit crew of two employees and the two co-founders, who you’ll work alongside daily. You’ll also oversee a team of estheticians providing services when all four treatment rooms open: Currently only have one lead esthetician, and two part-time estheticians in one room open. This role includes full responsibility for both retail operations and the service side of the business, with a 6-month probationary period to ensure long-term fit and alignment.
