Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Nurse Manager to lead and coordinate nursing services within our healthcare facility. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise nursing staff across various departments, ensuring adherence to clinical policies and procedures
- Coordinate patient assessments, medical documentation, and care plans aligned with best practices in acute and long-term care settings
- Oversee compliance with HIPAA, state healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards such as NCQA standards
- Manage staffing schedules, performance evaluations, and ongoing training initiatives to promote professional growth
- Facilitate communication between interdisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and administrative personnel to optimize patient care
- Monitor clinical operations utilizing EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems Point Click Care to ensure accurate documentation and efficient workflow
- Implement quality improvement initiatives focused on patient safety, infection control, medication administration, and nursing policy compliance
Requirements
- Valid RN/LPN license with current licensure in the relevant state
- Proven leadership experience in nursing management within acute care, critical care, or long-term care environments
- Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding, and medical documentation standards
- Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Point Click Care
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations, patient assessment protocols, and healthcare compliance standards
- Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage complex workflows effectively
- Familiarity with behavioral health, dementia care, geriatrics, pediatric care including neonatal ventilator management preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail in documentation and regulatory adherence
