MRO Quality Engineer
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Salary: $70K - $75K per year
Full time permanent position
Responsibilities:
- Inspection of engine components.
- Review and Approve written and illustrated repair plans, bills of material and outside purchase specifications per engineering drawings/specifications.
- Provide training and support for the QC Inspectors.
- Participate in quality and engineering review of discrepant parts including Cause and Corrective Action.
- Coordinate new and current business requirements with Production, Contracts and Engineering.
- Support Production in delivery of products to customers on schedule.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an aerospace/aviation engineering role, preferably at an MRO/Part 145 component repair station or aviation inspection/mechanic experience.
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Must have excellent communication skills both oral and written.
- Must have excellent organizational skills.
- Familiarity with GE/CFM Engine Shop Manuals and Standard Practices.
- Airframe and Powerplant License or prior FAA Repairman Certificate.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations.
- Airline and/or MRO experience.
- Technical writing experience.
- Prior manufacturing or fabrication experience.
- CMM operating and/or programming experience.
