Duties
- Perform electrical diagnostics on AC/DC electrical systems to identify faults and determine necessary repairs
- Conduct field service activities, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic equipment on-site
- Use hand tools and electrical soldering techniques to repair and assemble electronic components according to schematics and blueprints
- Read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately to guide repair and installation processes
- Diagnose issues using engineering troubleshooting methods, including the use of ohmmeters and other testing devices
- Repair, maintain, and calibrate computer hardware and networking equipment to ensure seamless operation
- Apply mechanical knowledge for equipment assembly, adjustment, and preventative maintenance tasks
Experience
- Proven service technician experience with a strong background in electrical diagnostics and equipment repair
- Hands-on experience working with AC/DC electrical systems, low voltage wiring, and electrical blueprint reading
- Familiarity with electrical soldering techniques and the use of testing tools such as ohmmeters
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot engineering problems related to electronic systems and mechanical components
- Experience in field service environments involving electronics maintenance or repair is highly desirable
- Knowledge of computer hardware setup, networking fundamentals, and basic mechanical principles will be advantageous
