We're expanding our team in Montgomery, AL and are looking for a friendly and dependable Cashier to join our retail team. As a Cashier, you'll be responsible for assisting customers at checkout, processing transactions accurately, and helping create a positive shopping experience from start to finish. We provide paid training, consistent scheduling, and opportunities for career advancement.
What Your Shift Will Involve
Every shift offers a variety of responsibilities that help keep the store running smoothly and customers satisfied.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Greeting customers with a friendly and professional attitude
- Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system to process cash, credit, debit, and mobile payments
- Scanning merchandise accurately and completing transactions efficiently
- Assisting customers with returns, exchanges, and general store inquiries
- Answering questions about products, pricing, promotions, and store policies
- Bagging purchases carefully and efficiently
- Keeping the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Assisting with light stocking, replenishing merchandise, and maintaining product displays
- Following cash-handling procedures, safety guidelines, and company policies
- Working closely with team members to provide outstanding customer service
Typical shifts may include:
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Schedules are posted in advance, and weekend and holiday shifts are shared fairly across the team.
