Job Overview

Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance about our wide range of smoking products and accessories
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers on new or featured items, enhancing their shopping experience
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh inventory
- Assist with inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and managing product rotation
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining a positive shopping environment
- Promote upselling opportunities by recommending complementary products and special deals to maximize sales potential
Qualifications
- Must be 21
- Previous smoke shop experience and knowledge required
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse customers effectively
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for transactions and inventory counts
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone or in person
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques and product demos is beneficial
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude toward sales and upselling opportunities
