Position Summary:
Responsible for managing the end-to-end customer order process while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Partners closely with Sales, customers, manufacturers, and internal teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment, proactive communication, and on-time project execution. Coordinates order management, supplier follow-up, logistics, and scheduling to support successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring product, pricing, and order details are correct.
- Review and validate manufacturer order acknowledgments, resolving discrepancies with supplier customer service teams.
- Monitor production and shipment schedules to ensure delivery commitments align with customer project timelines.
- Provide proactive updates to the sales team regarding order status, lead times, and project milestones.
- Expedite orders and coordinate with suppliers to meet customer deadlines and minimize delays.
- Schedule and coordinate inbound shipments with warehouse, logistics, and project teams.
- Resolve order issues—including backorders, shipping delays, damaged goods, and pricing discrepancies—through timely communication and follow-through.
- Maintain accurate order records and documentation within company systems.
- Support continuous process improvements and contribute to a collaborative, customer-focused team environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy when handling complex orders, pricing, and documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Proven commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and creating positive customer experiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate issues, communicate proactively, and drive timely resolutions.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
