TRANSACTION COORDINATOR
Job Description – Contract to Closing
POSITION SUMMARY
This position reports to the Director of Operations and responsible for contract audits, sales entry to key systems, maintaining contract deadlines, repair negotiations, communication between client and agent, legendary customer service to both client and agent, maintain vendor relationships, and adherence to current systems. The ideal candidate will be someone who can work efficiently and effectively with little supervision and is a team player.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee all aspects of buyer & seller transactions from ratified purchase agreement to closing.
- Input client information into the database system, track transaction activities, and submit each necessary document to the office broker for file compliance.
- Coordinate inspections, assist in negotiations regarding repairs, and coordinate completion of repairs.
- Regularly update & maintain communication with clients, agents, title/closing attorney, lender etc.
- Maintain accurate and compliant files for all transactions.
- Coordinate moving/possession schedules.
- Notify client about utility accounts to setup/cancel.
- Maintain and cultivate relationships with our vendors. ie – lenders, inspectors, contractors, appraisers, and all agents.
- Identify opportunities and recommend solutions to training procedures.
- Process closing checks and coordinate delivery to Market Center.
QUALIFICATIONS
- SC & NC Real Estate License (SC license at least required)
- Preferred: Real Estate industry experience.
- Keen organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to assess, prioritize and act quickly.
- A calm and resourceful demeanor when communicating with clients and agents.
- Customer service oriented and approach to people.
- Thorough knowledge of the buying and selling process.
