Licensed Practical Nurse
Base pay rate: $40 - $48 HOURLY
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Masconomet Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Topsfield, Massachusetts. As an LPN, you will provide direct nursing care to our patients and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by certified nursing assistants. Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients, ensuring the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times
Supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by certified nursing assistants
Admit, transfer, and discharge residents, as required
Complete accident/incident reports, as necessary
Maintain established standards of practice set forth by the facility's administration and Nursing policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with all health, sanitary, and infection control policies
Requirements
Must possess a valid, current, and unencumbered Massachusetts LPN license
Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed practical nurse in a skilled nursing facility, strongly preferred
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of patients served
Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
Basic computer knowledge

Must be willing to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing nursing practices
Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents
