We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Host/Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Host/Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to providing outstanding guest services.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a smile and positive attitude.
- Walk guests to assigned table and present menus.
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure that all orders are complete and presented beautifully before serving to guests.
- Assist servers by refilling drinks, clearing plates, and providing additional support as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including the dining room and kitchen.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management regarding any order discrepancies or guest requests.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required.
- Strong guest services skills with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help team members and guests alike.
- Knowledge of guest relations principles to enhance the overall dining experience.
