What You’ll Do
- Provide expert nursing care to neonatal patients in the NICU setting
- Assess and respond to the complex needs of infants and families
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement care plans
- Use the nursing process effectively to evaluate patient progress
- Educate families on neonatal health and post-discharge care
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
- Document care accurately and thoroughly
- Demonstrate professionalism and cultural sensitivity in all interactions
What You Need
- Current Louisiana RN license
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Minimum of 2 years NICU nursing experience
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
