Spinks Technologies, Inc. is a cloud engineering, AI automation, and cybersecurity solutions provider serving government, healthcare, and enterprise clients, headquartered in Gwinnett County, Georgia. Our team designs and operates AWS-native security architectures, AI-augmented monitoring, and compliance programs for clients operating in regulated environments.
We are building our cybersecurity delivery team in support of a pending managed cybersecurity services engagement for a hospital system in the Caribbean, protecting clinical and administrative systems across a hybrid on-premises, private cloud, and Microsoft 365 environment. As SOC Manager, you will own the design, staffing, and day-to-day leadership of our 24x7x365 managed detection and response service — including SLA performance, escalation management, and client-facing security reporting.
This role is initially being led by Spinks Technologies executive leadership to establish the program; we are hiring a permanent SOC Manager to assume full day-to-day ownership as the engagement transitions from stand-up to steady-state operations.
What You'll Do
- Own overall SOC service delivery: SLA commitments, escalation matrix, and MTTD/MTTR performance
- Build, schedule, and lead a tiered analyst team (Tier 1 through Tier 2/3) and manage on-call rotations
- Serve as the senior escalation point for Critical/High severity incidents
- Oversee integration of AI-driven triage agents with human analyst workflows
- Own client-facing SLA and cybersecurity reporting, including executive briefings
- Partner with the GRC/Compliance Lead on audit findings and risk register accuracy
- Transition program leadership from company executive leadership over time as the team matures
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- CISSP or CISM certification required
- 5+ years of experience leading a SOC, MDR, or enterprise security monitoring/incident response function
- Demonstrated experience managing tiered analyst teams and 24x7 coverage models
- Strong executive communication skills (SLA reporting, executive briefings)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare or another regulated industry
- Experience with AWS-native security tooling (GuardDuty, Security Hub, Detective) and AI-augmented SOC operations
- Experience managing distributed/follow-the-sun analyst teams
Pay: $135,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
