Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-Term Care (LTC)
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 10-week contract in a Long-Term Care setting.
Position Details:
- Specialty: Long-Term Care (LTC)
- Schedule: Night Shift – 3x12-hour shifts (5:30 PM – 6:00 AM)
- Block scheduling available
- Local candidates and first-time travelers are welcome
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and perform resident assessments
- Complete accurate electronic charting using Cerner
- Perform 24-hour chart checks and other clerical duties as needed
- Respond to call lights promptly
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including toileting, repositioning, and basic patient care
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality resident care
Requirements:
- Active Kansas LPN License
- Current CPR certification
- Long-Term Care experience preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
