Polsinelli has a position available for an entry-level full-time Legal Administrative Assistant in their Kansas City office, supporting the Real Estate practice group. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate, or someone interested in working in the legal field.
- Manage files, open new matters as requested by attorneys, and maintain all relevant document inclusions for the files.
- Prepare of real estate documents, closing binders, and assist with preparation of meeting materials.
- Responsible for a broad variety of administrative tasks including typing, filing, timesheet entry, submission of expense reports, credit card reconciliation, and proofreading; all which will require strong organizational skills, capacity to adapt to various department needs, to prioritize multiple responsibilities, and seamlessly perform each with meticulous attention to detail.
- Manage calendars and travel schedules.
- Coordinate and track continuing legal education requirements for attorneys.
- Must have excellent working knowledge of MS Office Suite, including the expertise of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must be able to work independently, as well as in a team setting.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve high-performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Forward-looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions.
- Strong initiative with the ability to manage multiple projects/tasks at a time.
